With continued growth, we’re on the lookout for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Kalgoorlie-based team.

Your Role

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our fleet moving safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing prime movers, tankers, trailers, and dollies, ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and engine tune-ups.
  • Diagnosing and repairing air brake, steering, suspension, and driveline systems.
  • Troubleshooting ABS/EBS braking systems and vehicle lighting.
  • Maintaining and repairing tanker fuel delivery systems.
  • Ensuring roadworthiness of all vehicles before they leave the workshop.
  • Accurately recording all work completed on fleet assets.
  • Following safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade Qualification (Mechanical/Heavy Vehicle)
  • Experience in a similar role (2+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles & transport equipment
  • Experience with truck & trailer repairs (road transport preferred)
  • Aircon ticket & Refrigerant Handling License (desirable)
  • Cert II Tyre Fitting (desirable)
  • Relevant tickets/licenses (HRWL – LF EWP desirable)
  • Valid Australian driver’s license (minimum C class)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & obtain a National Police Clearance
