Your Role

As our Finance Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing financial performance, working closely with senior management to support business objectives while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Financial Reporting & Compliance – Oversee financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

·         Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead the budgeting process, track performance, and provide financial insights.

·         Risk & Internal Controls – Develop and enforce policies to mitigate financial risks and safeguard assets.

·         Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with executives and external partners to support business goals.

·         Financial Operations – Complete day-to-day tasks including completing and managing payroll

What We’re Looking For

·         Strategic & Forward-Thinking – Make sound financial decisions that align with DM3’s operational and growth objectives.

·         Meticulous & Detail-Oriented – Maintain accuracy in financial reporting, compliance, and oversight.

·         Strong Communicator – Effectively convey financial insights to leadership and collaborate across teams.

·         Adaptable & Resilient – Thrive in a dynamic environment and manage financial stability through change.

·         Experienced Professional – Minimum 5 years in a similar financial leadership role.

·         Industry Knowledge (Desirable) – Familiarity with heavy vehicles and transport equipment. Experience with Office Companion software an advantage.

·         Compliance-Ready – Hold a valid Australian driver’s license (minimum C class) and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
